We had fun reminiscing over old stuff but still learning new things too. Great for an impromptu game night for couples in the first stages of relationship or rekindling one already in progress.

This little deck is better than I expected! These cards include a range of questions across five categories:1) Just for fun, 2) Know You Better, 3) Closer Together, 4) Special Memories, and 5) Future Focused. Unlike other question collections where there seem to be some great questions and some mediocre, every card I've read so far has been an interesting question. The back side of the card then offers follow up questions to continue the conversation:Pros:- Deck is compact and easy to travel with.- Cards are well constructed.- Great questions that are intentionally designed to fit a range of romantic relationships--from dating to those who have been together for many years.- Cards note that they're designed not to stir up conflict (which is a pretty brilliant note, I think!).- Box includes a QR code with additional resources.Potential Cons:- These seem most suited for those in already exclusive/committed relationships. People who have more recently met may find some questions not quite relevant or helpful for their relationship yet.- Though this states it's for "relationships" it does not specific that it intends for those relationships to be romantic. People who want questions for non-romantic relationships will want to buy another kind of deck.Overall, I'm very impressed and eager to work through some of these questions!

For reference, I am a mental health therapist, working mostly with adults in private practice. Sometimes clients really struggle to initiate conversations with partners, not knowing what to ask or how to get past the surface to get to the deeper, "getting to know the real you" stuff. This deck has the types of questions that can help facilitate these types of talks. Will they work for everyone? probably not. But the questions are presented in positive, non threatening ways, and on some of them, I think the follow up questions might even be a better starting point. The card deck is about the size of standard playing cards, making it easy to use, and seems like it will hold up as you would expect a deck of cards. Some cards seem more appropriate for newer couples (would you like to get a pet in the future?), while others for established relationships (how has your view of me changed over time?). I think it has a good balance of each, so that most people can find quite a few that are applicable to their relationship. I also like that card decks allow people to randomly pick a card, and feels less intimidating than "we have to complete these worksheets" to get couples to reflect on themselves and start conversations.

I’ve been looking at the question decks for a while but didn’t want to commit when there were no examples of questions shown. I chose these because the listing showed examples of the ACTUAL questions and I liked the tone of them. I ordered the RELATIONSHIP deck.The cards close to regulation playing card size. A little wider but not much. They feel like regulation playing cards and will probably wear about the same. There are questions in five categories; Just for fun, Know you better, Closer together, Special memories and Future focused. The questions are thought provoking without being overly intrusive.There are no questions about past relationships or other failures. They are all very positive. I culled a few not relevant to our ages and life stages, (60s & retired) like naming kids and career oriented. One of the things I really like about these decks is that after the initial question each card has two follow up questions to drill deeper and get the person talking below surface level, still all very positive vibes.I’m taking these with me next mont to see my LDR guy. I can’t wait “Get talking”!Bottom line is these appear to be a standout in the recent trend of conversation starter cards. I recommend.

I like these cards! They are designed not to facilitate surface conversations but rather conversations that get to the roots of your relationship with the person you love. They get you to talk about your emotions, your dreams, your troubles. Not only do they get you to talk about your thoughts about the other, but you get to ask questions that lift up what your love thinks about you. You get to ask them what they think is important to you.Sometimes you get through one question and that’s enough. Other times you go through a number of them and then the question cards seem to fall to the side and you just talk. I think that’s a very good thing. I’m not all that good at this, and these cards help me to even think about these questions. My wife thinks that these are a very good resource!

My partner and I have been together for 4 years and loved this card deck. The prompts are meant to create meaningful discussions and each card has additional prompts to keep the initial conversation going further. We thought we knew just about everything about each other, but my partner and I surprisingly learned a little bit more with every prompt we read. It's a fun way to get to know your partner better, and there wlare multiple categories of prompts you can choose from.

Recently, my husband and I decided to try the Talking Point Get Talking Relationship Cards, even though we've been together for over 25 years. At first, I was skeptical and thought these cards were probably more suited for new couples, and they might seem silly for two people who know each other as well as we do by now. However, I was pleasantly surprised.Every night, we select one or two cards and take turns asking each other the questions and the follow-ups when appropriate. It has been a nice way to reconnect and chat with each other outside of the everyday humdrum routine. I don't consider this a game, so I don't know how other people use them, but for us, they are more of a way to have a meaningful conversation with your partner.It was interesting to see how much we knew about each other. A few little surprises opened up, as well as changes over time that we hadn't talked about. Some cards didn't apply or were for couples in different stages of their relationship, but overall, they were well-suited to most couples.

This conversation card game is fun for sparking light-hearted chats, but the questions are more casual and surface-level than I expected. If you're hoping for deep or steamy therapy-style prompts, this might not be the one for you. It's still a good way to put away the phones and connect, just more on the easygoing side.

I really like this card pack! My boyfriend and I have used other brands of “relationship” cards and I appreciated that these cards were unique in their questions and topics, not just the generic questions you would expect. I do think these would work in other non-relationship scenarios as well, or atleast the majority of the cards would, if you want to bring them out with a group of friends to start conversations. Would recommend if you want to reconnect and get deeper convos with any relationship!

I really enjoy this pack of conversation cards because they encourage discussions beyond just the usual topics that couples often cover. They open the door to conversations about behavior and add an element of fun, making it easy to connect. It's refreshing to communicate in this way, as it takes the pressure off and allows for genuine understanding. Let these cards do the heavy lifting for you! I highly recommend them.
