Purchased for home use but have shared with my school’s therapist who have also purchased these. The questions are not answerable with a straight yes or no; the questions are excellent and kids truly respond with thoughts and passion.
Used in my home and in my high school ELA classroom for discussion points, introducing new topics, and ways to get to know my students.

My son and I have always had a very good level of communication. We recently took a trip…just the two of us for his 13th birthday. I tucked a few of these cards in my handbag. One night at dinner, I pulled a random one out. It was not because of a lull in conversation. I was curious as to where this card “switch” would lead. It was awesome…for both of us. A quick question on a card turned into a 45 minute conversation about true values, recognizing each other’s opinions, (REALLY good life stuff), memories and amazing honesty. I am beyond impressed with how the first few cards have inspired an even deeper communication with my newly teen-aged son. Highly recommend! We haven’t been through more than a handful of cards but are looking forward to getting the rest of the family involved.
The kids love them. It's been great seeing them want to sit around the table instead of pleading to leave for the tv.
I used the cards over an evening restaurant meal with grandsons, ages 13 and 16. We took turns drawing cards and had a few minute discussion about the questions. It worked to create good conversation. I wondered if being away from home also may a positive difference.
