Questions
Do I have to be a teacher to nominate?
No. Parents, grandparents, school staff, students over 18 and schools themselves can all nominate.
Does the school know I have nominated them?
Not unless you tell them. A school, classroom or teacher does not need to take part or approve your nomination.
Can I nominate more than once?
Yes, as long as each nomination is genuine. There is no limit.
I want to nominate a teacher. Who gets the school prize?
The school you name in your nomination receives the Ultimate Bundle, and you receive the gift card and your chosen pack.
Can I mention a student in my nomination?
Please do not. Nominations must not include names, photos or any detail that could identify a child. This is the most common reason an entry is disqualified.
When does my 20% off code arrive?
Immediately after you submit, by email. It works storewide until 3 November 2026 and cannot be combined with other codes.

Classroom Connection Month Giveaway
Terms & Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter of the Classroom Connection Month Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is Talking Point Cards (“Promoter”).
2. Giveaway Period
The Giveaway opens on 10 September 2026 and closes at 11:59 PM on 8 October 2026. Entries received after the closing time will not be eligible.
3. Eligibility
The Giveaway is open worldwide to individuals who:
- Are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry;
- Provide a valid name and email address; and
- Comply with these Terms & Conditions.
Entrants are responsible for ensuring that their participation is lawful in their country or jurisdiction.
Employees of the Promoter, their immediate family members, and anyone directly involved in administering the Giveaway are not eligible to enter.
No purchase is necessary to enter.
4. How to Enter
To enter, participants must:
- Visit the Classroom Connection Month Giveaway page on the Talking Point Cards website.
- Complete the online nomination form.
- Provide their name and email address.
- Nominate a school, classroom or teacher.
- Explain why they are nominating them.
- Explain how Talking Point Cards could support the nominated school, classroom or teacher.
- Agree to receive marketing communications and newsletters from Talking Point Cards as a condition of entering the Giveaway.
- Agree to these Terms & Conditions.
- Submit their nomination before the Giveaway closes.
There is no restriction on the number of genuine nominations an individual may submit.
A nominated school, classroom or teacher does not need to enter, participate in or approve the Giveaway entry. An eligible entrant may nominate a school, classroom or teacher without their involvement.
5. Marketing Consent
By entering the Giveaway, entrants consent to receive marketing communications and newsletters from Talking Point Cards, including updates, helpful resources and special offers.
Entrants may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe facility provided in the communication. Unsubscribing after entry will not affect the validity of an otherwise eligible Giveaway entry.
6. Prizes
There will be three (3) winners.
For each winning nomination, the winning entrant receives:
- One $50 Amazon Gift Card.
- One Talking Point Cards Pack of their choice, valued at AUD $38.95, subject to availability.
The nominated school receives:
- One Ultimate Talking Point Cards Bundle, valued at AUD $209.95.
Where a teacher or classroom is nominated, the school identified in the nomination will be the recipient of the school prize.
7. Total Prize Value
The total prize value for each winning nomination is AUD $298.90.
The total prize pool for the three winners is AUD $896.70.
Prize values are based on the standard retail values stated above at the time these Terms & Conditions are published.
8. Winner Selection
This is a judged competition and winners will not be selected by random draw.
Three winners will be selected by the Promoter from eligible nominations. Nominations will be assessed based on:
- Thoughtfulness: how genuine, meaningful and considered the nomination is.
- Demonstrated need: how the nominated school, classroom or teacher could benefit from Talking Point Cards.
- Connection and wellbeing: how strongly the nomination aligns with meaningful conversations, connection and wellbeing.
The Promoter may use a judging panel or more than one representative of the Promoter when assessing nominations.
The Promoter’s decision will be final, subject to any rights that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Winner Notification
The selected winners will be contacted using the email address provided with their entry.
Each selected winner will have 24 hours from the time the Promoter sends the winner notification to respond.
If a selected winner does not respond within 24 hours, the Promoter may select an alternative winner using the same judging criteria.
10. Winner Announcement
The winners are scheduled to be announced on Wednesday 14 October 2026.
The Promoter may announce the winning entries through its website, email marketing, Instagram and Facebook.
The Promoter will obtain appropriate consent before publicly identifying a winning entrant, school, classroom or teacher or publishing their nomination story.
11. Winner Consent and Publicity
The Promoter will obtain the winner’s consent before publishing information relating to the winning nomination, including the school name, teacher or classroom name, nomination story and other relevant information.
The Promoter will not publicly identify a winning entrant, school, classroom or teacher without appropriate consent.
12. Prize Fulfilment
The Promoter will contact each winner to obtain information reasonably required to fulfil the prizes.
The winning entrant will receive the $50 Amazon Gift Card and their chosen Talking Point Cards Pack, subject to availability.
The nominated winning school will receive the Ultimate Talking Point Cards Bundle.
Physical products will be delivered subject to the Promoter’s shipping availability and applicable delivery restrictions.
13. Amazon Gift Card
Amazon is not a sponsor, administrator or promoter of this Giveaway and is not affiliated with, associated with, or endorsing this Giveaway.
The Amazon Gift Card is subject to the applicable Amazon terms and conditions.
The Promoter will provide an Amazon Gift Card appropriate to the winner’s location, subject to availability.
The advertised prize value is stated in AUD for the purposes of the total prize pool calculation.
14. Personal Information
The Promoter will collect and use personal information provided through the nomination form for the purposes of:
- Administering the Giveaway.
- Assessing nominations.
- Contacting winners.
- Delivering prizes.
- Sending marketing communications and newsletters to entrants in accordance with their marketing consent.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.
15. Nomination Content
Entrants must ensure that information submitted in their nomination is truthful and appropriate.
The Promoter may reject or disqualify a nomination that is incomplete, fraudulent, misleading, defamatory, offensive, inappropriate or otherwise in breach of these Terms & Conditions.
Entrants must not include personal information about students or other children in their nomination, including names, photographs, contact details or other information that could identify a child.
By submitting a nomination, entrants grant the Promoter permission to use, reproduce, edit and publish the nomination content for the purposes of administering, promoting and publicising the Giveaway and Talking Point Cards, subject to applicable law and any required consent.
16. Changes or Cancellation
The Promoter reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the Giveaway or these Terms & Conditions where required by circumstances outside its reasonable control, subject to applicable law.
If the Giveaway cannot proceed as planned, the Promoter may cancel, suspend or modify the Giveaway to the extent permitted by law.
17. Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for technical failures, lost entries, interrupted internet connections or other circumstances outside the Promoter’s reasonable control.
18. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are subject to applicable laws and regulations in the jurisdictions in which the Giveaway is made available.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any mandatory rights an entrant has under the laws that apply to them.
19. Acceptance
By submitting a nomination, the entrant confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
