I am beyond impressed with the talking point card set. There are some heavy questions that every couple should be asking each other prior to getting legally married. This set of cards facilitate conversation in a way that is organized, well thought out, and fun.The topic areas are divided into 8 sections, which are color coded (visible at the top of the card). I included a photo of the card deck from above you so can see the different color options to choose from. The categories include Intimacy, Outside Influences, Values, Finances, Family, Goals, Health, and Home Life. I have included a sample of cards from each category so you can get a feel for the questions.My partner and I have been living together for over a year and some of these questions would have been really great to ask each other prior to moving in as they can reveal expectations that you may not realize impact household life together. Additionally, some of the "family" and "outside influence" questions are really helpful when blending two families, especially if there is conflict between one partner and the in laws.Overall, there are some difficult but very necessary questions that couples would benefit from asking each other. Some questions you would likely already know after dating for a few months. Either way, this is such a valuable tool to have in your relationship.If you are getting serious in a relationship, BUY THESE CARDS. One of the Q&As on the description says that it could work for a couple married for 3 years. I think it's true that they could be used for couples married longer than a year, but the questions might need some adapting and then they could still stir some interesting conversations. For example, instead of asking "How would we/you...," it could be changed to "How have/did we..."The nice thing about these cards is that they cover a range of topics. Some of the topics or specific questions might be a little uncomfortable, even for committed couples. And yet, the cards make them easier to ask/discuss because the idea/topic/question is coming from a card, not one person in the relationship.Like it mentions in the description, not every question/card is going to be for every couple, but with 200 cards, I think more would apply than not apply.

These cards make a wonderful getting-to-know-you game, for couples who want better communication. The questions are respectful but fairly invasive, so it's best to do just between two people, and not as a party game with a larger group. I guess that's the name. :)Categories include: Family, Values, Finances, Home Life, Outside Influences, Goals, Intimacy, HealthMany of them read like dating application cards: "How will we manage the responsibilities of caring for aging or unwell family members?" "Is it important for you to live near your extended family?" plans for retirement funds, etc.This is like a workbook but with cards. These are NOT first date materials or even 10th date materials, I'd dare to say. This is the 'settling down, are we going to stay together forever and what will that look like' style questions.I had thought they were more for just starting conversations with anyone and everyone but they are much more long-term relationship oriented than that!

The cards are great for bringing up questions to talk about and get a conversation started. They are absolutely great for anyone lacking in good communication skills that are looking for ways to get better and practice asking questions that might be hard to ask normally.A lot of the cards are useless for anyone who has had a long term relationship and that live together. Most of the cards are geared for new relationships where you might not be established yet or know a lot about the person.I really recommend these for anyone though. There are some good questions and some of them are really good for refreshing your memory or even giving the opportunity to change an answer or clarify a conversation from the past.

These are wonderful conversation starting cards with great subject and questions to make you ponder. They are wonderful to help you get to know your partner or even others around you. I use them for my social media content and to inspire conversation in my coaching practice. I am super happy and will be going back to purchase the others in their series of cards! These can be used in so many ways if you are creative! Good card stock quality, diffetent color coded categories and simple and clear design and come in a real sturdy and sold box! A+ from me.
